still, you’ll take what you can get, right? i love the wishful thinking masquerading as analysis in this paragraph. he’ll settle for “magic” over winning on the issues:

so, it will be about personality and not ISSUES, right? and if obama should happen to lose on the ISSUES, it will tear the democratic party apart, right?

but, it will be the party who chooses him. ergo, if he loses, the party will have chosen the candidate who ultimately becomes the instrument of its destruction.

sounds a lot like… suicide. doesn’t it?

i’d say that a party that needs “magic” and can’t win on the issues deserves to tear itself apart…
